I took him to the vet and I took him to the vet but the antibiotics didn't work what do I do? This is not him but this is what it looks like and it is not food allergies.

Has the vet done a skin scraping to rule out mange?

Dermodectic mange often appears only around the head of the animal and it is very treatable.

No, scabs are not food allergies.

If the scabs are located on the edges of the ear, it may be a mite infection which responds nicely to the proper insecticide. The mite is named Notoedres cati, and the condition Notoedric mange. It usually starts on the ears, especially the ear margins, but can spread to the entire head, and even farther if left untreated. It is quite contagious to other cats.

Skin scrapings of the affected areas usually reveal the presence of the mite, which is confirmatory for the condition.

If, however, the scabs are on the back side of his ears, they are usually the result of intense scratching, a good sign for run of the mill cat ear mite infection. Also easily treated and quite contagious.

Your vet is the one to make the diagnosis and provide treatment medicine.

I hope this helps and best wishes.
