I just got two new pare of glass , My persciption said blended bi=focals
OD: +1.50-1.25x87
OS: +2.25-1.50x72
Add: +2.25
The first pair is polycarbonite the second pair are plastic sunglasses. Looking at the outside edge on the new sunglasses len I can see a 225 but on the other pair it says 22 ? They told me that 22 means the same as 2.25 ? Sounds wrong to me, Is there a big difference between 22 and 225 ? Should take them back ?

2.2 is close enough to 2.25 that you should not worry... but if you are concerned you should definitely ask them about it directly. If you wait too long, then you may not be able to return them or get them corrected.

I agree with Rick, can you see through them properly? This should be the number one priority. I've never heard of the prescription being written on the lens. Are you sure you aren't looking at the frame size? Are there 3 sets of numbers? Where exactly are these numbers located?
