You need to be much more specific. First of all, "ounce" can refer to weight or volume. Second, you need to tell us what you're starting with. Do you want to know ounces from grams? Ounces of weight from volume of a substance? Volume in ounces from liters? Etc.
We can't possibly know what you mean without more information.

whenever you want to change from one type of unit to another, you multiply by one.
find a rational value that equals one, has the units you want in the numerator,
and the values you no longer want in the denomiator, and multiply.
example:
16 ounces divided by 1 pound = 1.
if you had pounds and wanted ounces, you would multiply by that equation,
and the pounds would cancel.
4 pounds(16 ounces/1 pound) =
64 pound ounces / 1 pound =
64 ounces.
as long as you multiply by one, you can change from one unit to another.
