I know I have asked this before, but now that diesel is finished his quarantine and has gotten to know me and my mom we think it is time for him to befriend chloe and tanner. We have had there cage together for a little bit, but diesel shows NO interest in the others. Chloe and Tanner bite at the cage and "chirp" when they see diesel, they want to play with him. We introduced him to Tanner once and Diesel hissed, now tanner won't go near diesel (and tanner sulks when he see's diesel, he will slink down and slither away instead of his "running jump"). We introduced Chloe and Diesel and they basically ignored each other, they just ran around and acted like the other one wasn't there.

Diesel has never been exposed to another ferret as far as we know.

Im just looking for suggestions, as I can find much on the web... And what I have found I've been doing, but the more things to try the better.

Also, what would be the best way to separate a fighting ferret? When we had them playing my mom and I both just held a towel and thought we could just throw it on them to distract them (IF they fought), but any other suggestions?

Thanks.

The towl idea isn't very good becaude they will just keep fighting. I was told to get something thin like a piece of cardboard and stick it between them but I never did. I always just grabbed them by there back ends and gently pulled until they released. Try and put your ferrets in a new area where none of them have been before, then there shouldn't be any fighting because its not their territory. You can also try and put them all in the bath together. Mine. Really enjoyed swimming. Good luck :)
