You could evict her if she refuses to leave. I don't know if the Police would get involved because this is basically an employment situation.

If you fired her, she has no right to live with you anymore. At that point, she is trespassing. Call the police department (NOT 911 because it is not an emergency) and speak to someone.

This is not the law as I have read it. Do you have a source or citation? I do not know the State so I cannot be any more specific BUT:

This is absolutely not correct from what I read - she CAN be considered to be a tenant/resident. I agree with you in theory but not in practice.

The Police will NOT get in between a "he said/she said" argument.

The OP should begin the eviction process.
