Is there anyway I can get partial custody of my brother? Reason being my mother is trying to move out of the province with him and I want to no if there's anyway I can get partial custody because that could stop her from leaving right? She wouldn't be aloud to leave a certain area right? I'm not really sure on how anything works.. I have a very close bond to my younger brother he's only sixteen and I am nineteen.. he also has down syndrome.. that little boy is my entire life and my mother could potentially take him away from me :'(.. does anyone know or ever heard of one sibling fighting for partial custody of another sibling? If so please let me know and tell me anything you know on how to even go about such a thing.. please someone help I can't lose him.. I would lose myself if I lost him..

Your mother would have to be negligent or abusive, and you would have to go to court and prove it.

Perhaps you could move too, or he can make a decision about where he wants to live when he is an adult.
Have you talked to your mother about a schedule of regular visits? How far does she plan to move?
