My wife dropped our external hard drive that we keep data on and now it will not power up. I replaced the logic board and the drive will now make a clicking noise such as it is trying to read data, but the hard drive never powers up. Is this data lost? Part of the data was backed up, but there is other data that I would like to recover if possible. Thanks in advance.

The drive is magnetic so the data is likely still on the drive... P2E
