I have an 8mth old pitt bull that will not gain weight or grow still looks like it a month old. He has good eating habits has shots up to date and has no worms. What could be wrong with him

Is your pitt a cross breed or a specific breed ? If specific breed of pitt then you can find out exactly how he should look at 8 months old.

So many possibilities here.

The dog could be a mixed breed with a much smaller dog than a Pit in there.

It could have a genetic disorder such as dwarfism (the gene that breeds like Basset Hounds carry.

It could be on a poor diet, in which case you would most like see some bone deformities by now.

Do you have a photo you could show us just to see if everything is in proportion?

No such thing as a pygmy pit..

I was thinking Staffy Bull.. but.. They're bigger then a 1 month old.

Staffy's are bigger then most pits... I would not guess at a staffy. I am with shazzy on food deficiency or genetic disorder such as dwarfism. But my number 1 guess is, that it's a mixed breed of some sort.
