I am a 16 year old female and my friend is 24 year old man , I enjoy spending time with him and a month before my 16th birthday I had sex with him (not anal) it was me who wanted intercorse and I understanded what I was doing and he didn't forse me or anything and was afraid to hurt me... he was really gentle and asked me if I wanted it ,if I'm sure of my decidion... will this be considered rape of any kind, can one of us or both be charged?

Yes, he could be charged with a felony, if the age of consent in your jurisdiction is 16 or greater.
What state or country are you in?
Although gentle, he is still a pedophile and a child molester. And although you think you gave your consent, actually under the law (assuming the age of consent in your jurisdiction is 16) you were incapable of consenting.

Yes at 15 there are only a few places where it is not rape. He could be arrested and set to prison and be a registered sex offender the rest of his life.
Also at 16 there are many places where it is still rape.
But the good news, you will be considered the victim and he will be considered a pediphile who used and tricked you.
