Here's a bit of background before my question: We were told I could never get pregnant and was scheduled for a hysterectomy last year. 2 months before the surgery we found out I was 5 months pregnant, after numerous HPTs and Blood tests. The doctors justs aid that my hCG levels were too low to detect.
Now I feel the same way I did at the beginning of the last pregnancy. Back then the doctors said I had a gastric Infection and pumped me full of Oxycotins for weeks. Looking back I know now it was morning sickness.

So I am feeling the same. Sluggish, tired all day, not sleeping at night for the past week, heavy lower back pain, abdominal twinges, nausea mostly late at night and really early in the morning. Also I am 5 days late. I want to take a HPT, but am afraid that my hCG levels will be too low again. Also my last months period was 4 days late and only lasted 2 days/light. So could I actually be farther along?

I just don't want the same thing happening again. To go for months taking HPTs and Blood tests only to find out at 5 months that I'm pregnant. I didn't take care of my body last time. And I feel terrible for that.

At this point it would be too early, but you could request an ultrasound.

They can tell if I am pregnant by ultrasound this early? Would a doppler also work?

Doppler will not work this early.

An ultrasound should work as early as about 6 weeks.

I never thought of that. Thank you! I'm pretty positive I'm pregnant. Everything that's going on, I just have this feeling, and still no period. And I've been right on the dot ever since my daughter was born. Never late.
