I have leaned the thottle body. Replaced the cable twice and it still sticks. Cleaning the thottle body did nothing. After changing the cable both timesit worked fine for about a week then it started sticking again. I put another spring on it and now it will slow now but it is very slow to do so. At the present if you drive it about 20 minutes it seems work fine. Anu sugestions.

Is the cable the proper length ? Does it take the shortest route with least amount of curving to get from pedal to throttle body? Is this a factory cable or aftermarket?

It seems like the cable is the proper length. It is running the same way as the old one that came off the car ran. Both of them were after markets cables. I just don't understand why a simple problem doesn't have a simple fix. Unless someone can come up with a solution as much as I hate to do it I am thinking about taking it to a Toyota dealer and seeing if they can fix it. With gas at $3.59 and my other being a Ford Exployer I sure would like to have my little car back to the point where I feel confident driving it.
