I also have a 9ct ring with the stamps - AR 115-1 9ct DW
I've been trying to find this out as well... I have discovered the AR 115-1 means that it is Italian made, the AR is the province & the number is the maker. I am still trying to find out what the DW stands for? Does your ring have a diamond (mind does) it was starting to thimk it means (With Diamond)??

Gday Emma steve here I googled DW and have found this foryou mate :) hope it helps. CTW means more than One Diamond. A lot of Jewelers also use DW and DTW. (Diamond Weight and Diamond Total Weight) It means the same thing as CT and CTW. One Single Diamond vs Multiple Diamonds added together. I got the information from here >>>> :)Diamond Carat Weight vs Diamond Carat Total Weight! - Jewelry-Secrets.com (http://www.jewelry-secrets.com/Other/Diamond-Carat-Total-Weight/Carat-Weight-Or-Carat-Total-Weight.html)
