Looking at a 2002 f350 king cab long bed it has a 7.2 diesel with 110000k on it dealer said it has some kind of power chip in it don't know what and the cat is cut out and stacks coming out the bed truck looks good and rides good just wondering if it is a good truck to buy any answer on it thanks Mike

Pay a diesel mechanic to go over it... its worth a hundred or so bucks to get an independent mechanic to look it over and tell you its shortcomings.

Sorry guys it's a 7.3 diesel that what happen when u type fast and have big fingers

Power stoke is a good engine, its second best right behind a Cummins... IF ITS BEEN MAINTAINED.

If it hasn't you get pinhole leaks in the cylinders that lead to hydrolocking and engine destruction.

There is no substitute for an independent professional evaluation of the vehicle before purchace. And maintenance recordssince it was new make it more valuable.
