I was in a relationship with this boy. He's my neighbor. We messed around a little bit and then it just faded. I want to go back to how things were about 3 months ago. I think I still have feelings for him, but I don't know how he feels about me. My question is.. how do I let him know that I want to be back in a relationship with him or friends with benefits again? I sometimes think he pretends to like me or love me. But I'm not sure how he feels. He's been caught between me and this other girl who I am friends with. She doesn't like him at all. I'm not sure if I should ask him if we could go back to what we had, or just let him go.

How old are you? Friends with benefits? Do you really want people to look at you and say to themselves "EASY"... because that's what will happen unless you raise the bar on yourself respect. If this is all you want a boy in your life for then you should forget about boys and concentrate on being a teenager and school.

I'm 18 years old. It's not like I'm going around selling my body. I do have self respect. I am a good Catholic. I want this boy in my life for more than just that, and he knows it.

I can see how adviceishere is confused, though. First you say you were in a relationship, then you say you messed around and things faded, then you ask how to let him know you want him back/friends with benefits.

What I see is that you're trying to sell yourself short to come off blasé to him. MAYBE I'm completely off, but having been 18 once I know that's what I would have done. You obviously want something because you say you don't know if he'll admit he likes or loves you. You want a relationship, not just friends with benefits--especially if you're a good Catholic. Right?

You're 18 and it's a good time to start learning how to face the guy you like and say "Hey, I like you and would like to see where things go. What do you think?" and if he just wants to fool around you can say, "I'm taking my awesome personality to someone who will give me everything I want. Adios Amigo!"

Start respecting yourself now and you'll be in good shape going into your 20's :). Good luck!

Hey all I'm saying is don't settled for just "friends with benefits" and don't let a guy think this is what you want because he won't treat you with respect.
