The cold tap in my bath turned itself on full blast! It took me two full turns to turn it back off so I have no idea how this could have happened! Can anybody help?

Did it close like normal when you gave it 2 turns?

Yes it did, but its never happened before and there haven't really been any problems with the bath taps so I don't no what it could be

Too much pressure and / or loose cartridge. Take off the handle. If there is bonnet nut than tighten it.

This happening to my kitchen tap... Im freaked... not turny taps but when I hear it its full turned on 90 degrees, pretty scared now. 2nd time tonight
