View Full Version : I'm 28 my mother is more than 15,000 back child support can I sue for it

I'm 28 years old my father was the best father there is my mother was never there just broken dreams and hearts when me and my brother was little the people from america's most wanted called my father and they wanted to know if they could broadcast her on there show and being the nice guy my dad was he said NO that was still there mother I never knew you could go back on back child support my dad tried everything he could do she would find jobs under the table so when she filed taxes she know my father would recive her taxesNow she is about to get a huge settlement and I fill like I should get something my father was a single parent I had to watch him suggle just to make it from week to week month to month I have two kids and she has never bought them a birthday or christmas present

Please look at all the similar posts from people who think "they" are owed something from child support. Where is the liability? Where is the wrongful tort? The money for child support doesn't belong to you, it belongs(ed) to the person raising you. They may have an issue but there is no liability to you, particularly since you are 28.

Your mother owes your father, has he passed away where he can no longer collect ?
