Thank you for the advice. I have spoke to my daughter about not eating and the inportance of eating, she just said if I don't stop talking about it will make her stop eating altogether. I have consulted my health visitor who recommended vitamins which she has started taking. She is not underweight(yet) but still, she's at the bottom end of her ideal weight chart. She frequently complains of stomach ache (mostly school mornings). Ive also noticed signs of puberty. She's very active and hasent one bit of fat on her body.

Okay, it does sound as though she is in the beginning stages of anorexia. It may be time to get her into counseling before permanent damage is done to any of her vital organs.

What does she eat though? What kinds of foods, how often, etc? These are very important questions to determine anorexia as anorexics do tend to pick out certain foods and stick with them. There are also other patterns dealing with foods that are associated to anorexia, for instance one is alphabetizing the canned foods in the cabinets. This one is usually for the older gals, but there are distinct patterns.

I was there 27 years ago. I understand what she is thinking.
