I turned both adjustment screws on my well pump trying to set the water pressure higher and its all messed up - is there a way I can reset it by screwing in the adjustment nuts all the way and then turn them out a certain number of turns to reset them to factory settings?

The first thing you need to do is cycle your pump to see where it turns off (cutoff pressure) and where it turns on (cutin) pressure. To do that, use water until it turns on, then turn off the water and let the pump run until it turns off. Note both pressures on your gauge.
Once you have those two pressures, you can then turn them BOTH down or up by turning the large center nut. Turn it clockwise to turn them up, and CCW to turn them down. You would like to end up around 30/50 with, as you can see, a 20# difference.
If you don't have that 20# interval, then the smaller nut is used to adjust that. Turning it clockwise will increase the Cut off pressure, while turning it ccs will decrease it.
