Where are some salvage (aka banana box) suppliers?I am starting a little salvage food store in Ohio, (on the border of PA), and I want to start small. I need companies that will let me buy a small amount of food ( like only a few pallets). Or companies that will let me go there and get as much as I can in a truck. They can be in Ohio or western PA. Thanks so much!!

Starting small in food salvage is impossible, I believe. Food has the tiniest per-item profit margin of all goods (except for maybe gasoline) and so depends on high volume sales. By the time you get your small selection, there is no room for markup. Pallet prices I looked at for pasta were about what I would pay at my grocer on sale, not worth it, with freight and the overhead of your store. If you did find a warehouse, it's one that has already been through a salvage dealer who doesn't store any goods, just has deals with big chains and ships FOB from all the states.
