Yes, most adults can function quite well on 6 hours sleep others need 7 to 8 hours.
Young children and teens can sleep up to 10 hours a night while some elderly people get by on 4/5 hours with maybe a nap during the day.
A lot depend s on how active you,and what's going going on in your life.
Stress, trauma, caffenine,alcohol,medication and others drugs and cigarettes can effect your sleep pattern.
