My dog ate from the trash and now he poops blood. I do not have enough cash to take him to the vet? What can I give him to help solve this problem at low cost?

We are not vets here. Nor do we know what he ate. He NEEDS the attention of a veterinarian to possibly save his life.

What would you do if your CHILD were pooping blood but you didn't have insurance?

Call your local vet's to see if they take payment plans. Many do in this economy.

I am hoping there is another option but blood means something needs to be fixed to stop bleeding. Can you arrange a payment plan or something with a vet? I am concerned for your pup.

For the more experienced dog people can you give more info.
Age of dog?
Health of dog?
Up to date on needles and deworming?
Breed of dog?
What was in trash?
How much blood how often ?
Eating drinking OK?
Pooping and peeing okay?

Do you know what was potentially in the trash?

Is the blood very bright in color? Runny? Or is it solid and dark red?

Either or, you're going to have to see a vet. If he ate something that is sharp, his intestines could be at risk. Depending on they type of bloody stool is going to depend on the severity of it.

There really isn't any home remedies to cure this.
