Hi DJ...

If possible, try cracking the meter nuts and see if you have full pressure. Don't be fooled by a little water here, let the water run and check for real pressure.

If no pressure here, then I am afraid that the old shutoff may have broken off at the stem... usually occurs with older style GATE VALVE shutoffs.

The only solution for the weekend will probably be to hook a hose up between you and a helpful neighbor and then line up a plumber to replace the shutoff on Monday. Obviously, things will need to be coordinated with the water department.

Otherwise, if you do have pressure at the meter, you will need to chase this to the next shut off in line, and check until you find the clogged shutoff.

Questions? Let me know, OK?
