I am here in Washington State stuck here while my wife and kids are in Texas. Me and my wife got into an argument I pushed her neighbor saw it and called the cops. In this state if the police are called they have to arrest someone, especially here in Bellingham Wa. They issued a mandatory 2 year NCO issued by the state not my wife, and I am on 2 years probation, I have a residence in Texas and I am forced to be living with my brother since my wife and kids are in Texas. Can they make a non resident live half way across the country from his kids. I am having problems finding work here, being here is preventing me from supporting my children because I can't find work. I plead guilty because I did in fact shove her and she went back home to Texas after I got arrested because there was no financial support up her for her and my kids. I was going to fight the case but I was already in jail for 50 days because my public defender kept asking for a continuance saying if I took it to trial it could take a lot longer, and that if we went to trial even if my wife wasn't there to testify on my behalf, the state could press charges and they could bring the neighbor in to testify I shoved my wife out of anger which is still DV assult. So I took a quilty plea thinking I could get out sooner with time served, only to be railroaded with Probation and now having to attend a DV Class because I took some stupid evaluation that even the Pope can take and possibly fail. So my question, can they Prevent me from moving back to Texas since I am a resident there and have no job or my own home here
