HELP! My two week old white kitty just opened her sweet little eyes, and they are paper white... what's that mean? She also seems to have a case of conjunctivitis which was hiding really well till her eyes opened up. :(

Her daddy is a deaf albino, and two of her litter mates died of birth defects. The mating was a complete mistake, and the result of a friend letting the kitten's Mama, Norma Jean, outside while she was in heat - of course right before I was to have her spayed.

I am planning on taking the baby to the vet tomorrow, but can someone give me some info and/or advice? Thanks. :o

I'm so sorry hon but you might have to put the kitten down. The best diagnosis for her is blindness. She could have a disease which could hurt her and other cats in your home. However, your vet will be able to tell you more about this. The same thing happened to a kitten in a litter that my cat had when I was a kid. My parents had to put the poor little white kitten to sleep at the vet's. Again I am so so sorry!!
