So my boyfriend and I live in separate provinces he's from here but he's in the army and will be returning home permanently in 8 months. Because it's long distance obviously we have to keep in touch and what not. This is going to sound juvenile but here we go.. He goes through phases where he promises something i.e. skyping almost every night for one week and then I'll get a message saying I'm taking a nap and he knows I have to work that night so we don't. Same thing happened today, he came home from two weeks of training and we have only really had time to talk for 2- at most 10 minutes a day if he could call at all. He said he would call me the second he came home and then I got one of those I'm taking a nap messages I'll call you later. I'm rather pissed off about it because I sit around waiting whether I like to or not.. but don't know if I should be mad.. Thanks for any insight.

I think you should live your life according to your schedule. Keep yourself busy and if he calls great, if he doesn't, then whatever. Looking at it that way will help time go by faster and for your feeling not to get hurt during the long distance relationship.
Good luck,

Sounds like he has no time for you.
Regardless of long distance or the Army.
I would be pissed as sh##t if I was waiting for someone to come back & they didn't have the time for me. For 2 weeks!!
"if he could call at all"..
Don't bet the bank on this guy.
Save yourself the worries. Don't wait another day, let alone 8 months.
If he wanted you, he would show it.
"I sit around waiting whether I like to or not"
That's your decision. Sounds like you don't like it.
Don't call, email or Skype him any more.
There's other guys. Ones that will treat you like you are special.
His actions are loud & clear.

If this is the guy from your other posts, then you already know he is unpredictable and can't tell time. So stop waiting and getting frustrated, and take it as it comes. Even if it doesn't come on time.
Naw, I wouldn't be mad, but I wouldn't live by his clock either.
