Changes are it's a minor infection, something like a spot or pimple, rather than anything scary. If it doesn't resolve itself in a day or two, and is still painful, maybe ask a practice nurse or someone like that to have a look at it.

So its just a simple infection, nothing too worrie myself mad over? Like a milk duct infection? How long should it take to go away? Would painkillers help the pain go away? Thank you!

It could be an infection of a milk duct or just a skin thing, but it's likely to be something fairly minor. I know one girl who sweated buckets over a lump which turned out to be a pimple! See how it goes, and if it's annoying and not getting better, get someone to look at it.

I've taken painkillers and its taken all pain away, I'm going to leave it until Monday and if its not better by then, then I'll go see a doctor.

Sounds good.
I know it sounds odd, but the fact that it's painful is a good thing. The most dangerous lumps usually usually not painful at all.

Yeh, see if it does go away tomorrow should I still tell a doctor? Are theses infections common? How do they start?

Really, it depends what it is. If the pain is very local (only in one spot) then it's a minor infection, possibly of the skin. You can get spots and pimples on nipples too. If it's under the skin, it could be a minor infection of the milk ducts. It's possible, even if you have never been pregnant. If you start feeling sick or hot or flu-like, see a doctor.
