I don't know if the books is harlequin or mill and boons,OK the first one was 1990's and in it the hero is the girl boss and he want a child so he ask his secretary to have his child .I don't remember if he marry her before or after.the girl accept because she love him.it in the end that she got the baby.the second one is about a girl gardener and lives in a cottage that belong the its owner (blake if am not mistaken).the book start where the girl is making noise with its machine and the owner comes to tell her stop it in the middle of the night as he was in the swimming pool .then its their first meeting.I think the hero was older like 37 or 35.then they start an affair and the girl was a virgin.but due to the girl carefree nature he stop it because in the past they had kidnapped his wife and then killed her.he does not want the same thing happen to her.but the girl make him jealous with his friend .and he thought the friend is spending the night with the girl .he knocks on the door and when she open he demands to see him then the girl ans shusss you will wake...
Then the hero say I will do more than wake him then the girl added' my parents'.in the end I think he bought a dog for her security .if anyone knows their titles then I would be very greatfull
