A satellite revolves around Earth in a circular orbit. Does Earth's gravity do any work on the satellite?

No Body Yet If It Does Or Doesn't Make An Impact On Satalites, But What I do Know Is That The Earths Gravity Isn't Strong Enough To Bring It To Earth But Isn't Weak Enough To Let The Satalite Go Out Of Orbit.

Vanne - remember that work done on an object is equal to the force applied to the object times the distance the object moves in the direction of that force. Here you have gravity which is pulling on the satellite straight down towards the center of the earth. But what direction is the satellite moving relative to the direction of this force? Can you answer this problem now?
