Ever since this lad came to our school in yr 7 i have liked the look of him, he is now in yr 8 goin in yr 9 soon. im in yr 10, every time i see him i see him looking at me; so i look at him and he kinda smiles and looks away. my friend keeps sayin stuff like " ... (this being the lad), charlotte says heyy gorgeous ". its embarrasing, but he like laughs at it but his friends keep lookin at me nd smiling; it akward.
the only time i talk to him is on facebook and we had a nice convo the other day but he had to go which was bad, but i saw him today (2/3/11) and he kinda looked at me thn looked away, a lot slower thn usual.
i wanna know does he like me or is he just being nice ?
(i like him as well coz he has a 6 pack) nd he is sweet.

No way to know if he likes you or not, only he knows that. You can always flirt with him and see what happens!
I liked a sophomore (grade 10) when I was a senior (grade 12) and I knew he liked me. My flirtations amounted to nothing though because HE was too immature to know how to respond. Just letting you know my experience, haha.
I miss my teenage years :)

I would ask but he is one of the more popular ones and it embarrasin enough, plus he's gone away for 2 weeks. :'(

You don't have to ask, just smile at him when he looks at you. Talk to him when he talks to you. He may be popular but YOU are older... perhaps that's intimidating to him!
I'm sure you'll figure it out. Crushes are a lot of fun, especially at that age. Have fun with it and it will work itself out.

I have to disagree here, the op is 18,an adult, and the boy she is referring too is only 15, a kid.
Encouraging the op to have fun with it can only lead to trouble for both of them.

I guess I should have asked the age. In my mind I was thinking two grade school kids (based on the premise of the OP's question), not an adult and a kid. THAT changes everything for sure.

Thanks for clearing that up, I got confused with your other post, and the american grade system.
So, your nearly 16 and he's going to be 14.
As you probably know girls mature a lot sooner then guys, so while your thinking is probably that of a 16 to 17 year old and his thinking is that of a 13 to 14 year old, both sexes do catch up and even out.
The thing is, at 13/14 he's quite a bit younger then you, most likely he's not allowed to the same places you are, nor allowed date.
He's too young for you.
My advice, hang with your girlfriends enjoy being 15 /16 ,it's a great age to have fun and be free of the drama that relationships bring.

All I can say is that well try to stop flirting with him because there are many guys out there and if this gets serious, u can land in big trouble not because u like him but because if u guys start liking each other than anymore physical activities can land both of u in trouble . :)
