My boyfriend was sentenced 24 months with 253 credited timed served and 324 credited timed served. In actuality how long is he in prison for? Someone please help me understand this.

Hello d:

Assuming you are correct in that he get's TWO awards of time served, one being 253 days, and the other being 324 days, he'll have 153 days left.

However, I don't understand why he gets TWO different amounts of time served.

Don't understand either.

Maybe he was put in jail for 253 days, made bail, was convicted, did an additional 324 days, and now she is wondering how many days are left?

Actually he had two cases. So one case said 253 & the other said 324. But I figured out he has 324 credited timed served. Still don't understand how much he gets.

Concurrent sentences, right?

24 months is two years. 365 + 365 = 730. Give or take an extra day for leap year. Subtract 324 is 406. From the date he started serving the balance of the sentence.

Are you mathematically challenged, or what?

No genius, I making sure that theory was correct. I already figured it out. No need to be a smart a**.

Answers are given with the quality of information received, we have not way to know until told that there are two sentences, and the such. Next was the 24 months the sentence for both, or each.

... I making sure that theory was correct. I already figured it out. ...

So then you must have been lying in the previous post, when you claimed that you "... Still don't understand how much he gets."?
