Find the Net force required to bring a 110 kg bike and rider traveling at a velocity of 22.7 m/s to a complete stop in 10 seconds? Assume that the bike is traveling in the positive x direction.
When I first attempted this question I got -249.7. However apparently that is wrong? Please Help

Your answer is correct. Who or what told you it was wrong?
F=ma=m\frac{\Delta v}{\Delta t}=110 kg \cdot \frac{-22.7 m/s}{10 s}=-249.7 N

Thanks! I thought I had it right but I had an online homework assignment that told me it was incorrect.

Nothing like an erroneous answer to add confusion where there was none before. Like physics isn't confusing enough to begin with!
Luckily you know what you're doing. Good job!
