So I just put a new alternator in. So this is what it does, while I am driving it shuts off. I thought maybe high RPMS or low RPMS but it doesn't seem to matter. It just shuts off sometimes it will turn back on by putting it into gear. But it shuts off again. Help! I think it might be the distributor, ignition switch, main relay, spark plugs, but I am not sure and don't have the money for all parts. Any help would be great.

Replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil will solve the problem:

Thanks I am still on the mission to figure it out. So I checked the spark plugs today and one was burnt on one side. So I took the battery to be charged. I also asked the parts guy why it would do that. He said timing. So any other suggestions would be great!

Why don't you try the ones I gave you?
