I am an Indian resident and recently got my H1B stamped for Company A in US. Now I am due to fly to US in Feb, 07 but in the meantime I have got another offer in US from company B. Company B is ready to transfer my H1 visa. But can a visa be transferred even though I have not worked with Company A as yet and without any pay stubs?

Company B has to reapply for you. They will still have to pay for the forms and applications to file on your behalf (Which is almost as much as what Company A would have spent).

Let me know if this helps...

Thanks for your support in this.
But I am little confused with this. Does that mean the Employer B has to file a new H1B application for me or H1B Transfer papers. Does that affect my case?

Hi All
I too am having similar dillema. Iam in touch with some companies (which made offers to me)which say that in case a transfer application is filed within 30 days of entering USA then paystubs are NOT required and the transfer process can go smoothly.
How do I confirm the validity of the above? Do U know any attorney/legal person whom I can talk to?
