Iam using windows7 ultimate 32-bit version.I connected my mobile to PC through a usb cable and tried to copy something to my memory card.I was unable to do so... it says that your disk is write protected.I have tried many memory cards but it is displaying the same that it is write protected...
when I opened the memorycard properties I found a message "this device cannot be used for readyboost"

I have tried the following procedures... but they did not work..
no.1:

1. Click Start->Run.

2. Type regedit and click OK.

3. Save your registry settings by clicking file > Export > save. This is the bacup taken in case something messes up.

4. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE by clicking on the + sign next to it.

5. Open SYSTEM by clicking the plus sign next to it.

6. Open CurrentControlSet.

7. Open Control.

8. Open StorageDevicePolicies

9. Right click on WriteProtect and click modify.

10. If the value data is 1 change it 0 and click OK.

11. Repeat steps 7 to 10 for ControlSet001 and ControlSet002 .

12. Close Registry editor and its done. You might have to reboot.

no 2:

1. Copy all the important data from this drive to your computer because this method will format the drive and erase all the data on the pen drive.

2. Now download the Apacer Formatting Utility, Unzip this utility to a folder on your hard disk, preferably on a folder on desktop screen for easy access (Do Not Try To Save it on pen drive). Keep your pen drive plugged in, and double click on the Start.bat file in the folder where you unzipped the above utility. This will start formatting your pen drive, wait till the formatting completes and the LED on your pen drive stops blinking. Remove your pen drive after than and plug it in again.

no 3:

1. Go to Start > Run, type cmd and press enter, this will open command prompt.

2. Type the following command on the command prompt replacing X with the drive letter of your pen drive.

CHKDSK X: /F

so plese tell me any other option I am left with..!

1. Readyboost has nothing to do with transferring data.

2. Do you have an option to mount the card as a drive?

3. What kind of "mobile"?

Did you right click on the drive once installed and choose properties? Then choose the readyboost option? You can change how it reacts at that point. Be sure to click apply when done making changes.

Hi, need help please! Just try the first methods correctly. Buy It's doesn't work.
Then try second methods, also not work , or I need more patient? Is it right, wait about 1 hour to format 600MB files?
Then I try the last methods, after I type like the instruction. Shown Windows can not run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected.
How should I do?
