Obama and Al Qaeda are now both on the same side. They are both against Gadhafi's violent resistance to change in Libya. Could this lead to a new détente with islamic militantism?

That would be the same AQ that sends armies of homicide /suicide bombers into countries to foment violent change to create jihadist repression ? They lack the moral authority to speak of peaceful revolution.

Me and the KKK guy down the street are against child porn. I guess I must support the KKK then.

You = fail at logic.

Yes Tom but even a terrorist can be accepted as a bed fellow, worked for Yasser Arafat. He lacked a lot of moral authority for the same reason and yet... This might be the only chance the US has of having OBL come in from the cold.

Karma it isn't my logic that has failed, it isn't the first time the US has been on the side of a meglomaniac, there must be a natural attraction to lost causes somewhere that we just don't understand. What I suggest that if OBL thinks this is a good idea we should stand back a little and watch a while
