I have criminal sales charge of a controlled substance and I finished a year in prison and I had 2 years of parole but finished a year early with no violations I now want to join the army but in order to do that I need to get my felony reduced to a misdemeanor I have children and one more on the way and I want to make a change I wrote a letter to the judge that convicted me but is there anything else I could do? I have no idea how to go about this.

No you can not get a conviction changed, it was already ruled and you already served your time.
Before the judge rules is when you plea bargain, not after.
No writing a letter to the judge will do nothing but give the judge and his clerk a big laught.
There is nothing at all you can do.
