I had my son 11 weeks ago and I have not stopped bleeding. I've been having cramps and weird pains in my lower abdomen. Any idea on what's going on or what I may need to do? My obgyn was no help at all.

I don't believe your obgyn was no help at all. That is what they are there for after birth of a baby. Maybe you didn't explain your symptoms well enough. You should not be bleeding for 11 weeks. Don't you see any danger signs ? Get to your doctor and find out. Any health problem after birth that bothers you, takes your focus away from your newborn, so you owe it you and your baby to find out why the discomfort.

You should be bleeding (lochia) only approximately 3 weeks with the color slowly going from bright red to pale pink. Any longer than 5 weeks should be addressed with an MD. If your OB was no help, find another doctor. It is possible that you have some retained placenta that will need to be removed.
