Ohkay I was reading this book an I didn't get to finish it an I want to start reading it again but I forgot the name! :(

All I remember is it was about a black girl.. who lives in dowtown los angelas an two men broke into her house an raped her... she told her boyfried who's name is chico or rico or something lyk that who is in jail (in the book they say that he looks like a gorrilla) an he gets out of jail an kills her rappeist... they also talk about how she doesn't love her boyfriend for the looks but for his personality... on the cover of the book it's a black girl standing there with a tank top on an her arms crossed and a wall in the back ground an a man is leaning on it with his arm and his face the color of the book is a off white kinnda brown color... PLEASE HELP
