View Full Version : Awkward Gurgling Squeaking Noise

Every so often in the wall nearby the electrical control unit for the HVAC system, I am recently hearing a gurgling dripping noise and a squeaky flapping noise if you can understand what I mean by that. We did have a problem where we had to replace a pipe for the AC system however, I don't know if there are any other pipes running down the wall in the middle of the house in fact I doubt there are. The bathrooms are all on the back wall. Anyone know what this annoying noise could be? We just had a part replaced on our Heating system.

I assume the wires got water on them when the pipe leaked down the wall near the hvac control panel. Could this be causing a faulty noise when the heat turns on?

Wires should never gurgle or drip. Is you heating system hot water or forced air? Is it a 90% system that produces condensate, a white pipe leading outside that water comes out of? It sounds like the condensate drain went bad, and is bad again.

Forced Air
When we just had our heating fixed I asked the guy if it would be okay for winter. See, the pipe isn't finished. It just goes straight to underneath the house and we haven't rerouted it. And now I am beginning to think that a bird got inside of my attic and perhaps got stuck and was making a lot of weird noise that bounced off the walls and pipes to make it sound like gurgling.

But as long as it will be okay till spring. Were not running the AC.
