In divorce papers it stated that I pay a debt until pending final resolution of a divorce. Well finally got my divorce and she has yet to make a payment on the debt that has her as primary and a lien on my truck. My truck is not worth the lien so I can part with it. The problem is she gets a mental disability check and I pay her child support for our 2 kids. She just doesn't want to work and is leaving the debt for me to pay even though she said she would assume it and it is in her name. I gave her our house with quick claim deed and she got a brand new explorer either paid for or not I don't know how she got it. What can be done to me, or do they take a lien out on her house, or explorer first? Do they take my truck from me and that is it, or do I get garnished because she is lazy?

If the divorce decree states that she assumes responsibility for the debt, then you can send a copy of the decree to the creditor demanding they remove your name from the loan. If she doesn't pay, they will repo the truck. But they should not come after you for payment.
