My Mom is suffering from Piles for the past 20 years but she had a pulmonary embolism after the leg fracture about one and a half years ago.she's mow taking ecosprin 150mg and no other blood thinners but suddenly for the past two weeks she's experiencing bleeding piles. What should we do?

Hi, wondergirl, bleeding piles can be a sign of constant straining to pass a motion, or lifting something heavy or sometimes standing to long, this is very common and can sometimes be treated by creams or suppositories which will shrink the piles.
With a better diet(lots of fibre)being careful not to lift anything that is to heavy and resting your legs, hopefully they should not return.
However, although I don't think the piles are connected to the bloodthinning tablets... I AM NOT A DOCTOR AND SHE SHOULD BE CHECKED OUT PROFESSIONALLY BY HER OWN DOCTOR to be sure of no other underlying problem. This will give you both peace of mind and stop you worrying.
