Is it possible to get access to the MLS if you are not an agent or broker?

I am a agent in Stockton, Ca. and you can't access the MLS that agents belong to. The best places for non agents to find listing is on mls.com are realtor.com.

Realtor pay mothly access fees for MLS information , not only to research , but to list propery. The MLS is not open to the public , however most property listed in MLS services are available at realtor.com. You must have a vail RE license to gain access and you pay a monthly fee as well as "money by the minute" and makes it an expensive place for surfing. If you think that the information in the MLS is exclusive with great secret details pertaining to "great finds" or "cheap" properties , you are mistaken. The MLS Service is not that . You can find all you need and everything about a property on public websites.
