-7/6 divided by -1/3 = 7/2

-7/3 divided by 6/7 = -2

It's simple. Invert the second fraction and multiply it by the first. In the first problem you would wind up with -7/6 x -3/1 = 21/6 reduce by dividing top and bottom by 3 which gives 7/2 or 3.5

To multiply fractions you multiply the numerators and then multiply the denominators. Hope this helps.

-7/6 divided by -1/3
= -7/6 multiplied by -3 (see what I did there? Dividing by a fraction, or any number for that matter, is the same as multiplying by its inverse)
= 7/2 (note that the two minus signs cancel each other out) (you have on top of the fraction 7*3 and on the bottom 6, so it simplifies to 7/2)

-7/3 divided by 7/6
= -7/3 multiplied by 6/7
= -2 (on the top of the fraction you have 7*6, on the bottom 3*7, so that yields 2)
