I had unprotected sex 6 days before my last period, which still came on time but was much shorter. I've learned a lot about cycles and everything... I know that the time of the month I had sex and the fact that I had bleeding means I shouldn't be pregnant.
However, for the past few days I've had all these symptoms...
Headache
Bad lower bellyache
Severe backache
High temperature
Really, really emotional/sensitive
Exhausted
Very nauseous sometimes when walking and always when looking at or smelling food
I'm taking a home test Monday but I'd like some info before then...

It's possible, but not the norm as you know. How long ago did this occur? If it has been a couple of weeks, try a test. It may be that you are fighting an illness as some of those symptoms are not necessarily an indication of pregnancy or usually experienced early on.
If negative, you may want to see your doctor. If positive, you'd see your doctor anyway... :)

It sounds like you could be. You need to do as DoulaLC said. I also want to add that if you have been worried about becoming pregnant or that you might be for a little while (month or so) you can start having symptoms of pregnancy. I did this almost 2 years ago. I realized what was going on (after taking a number of HPT) and calmed myself down. I wasn't pregnant... just worried.

Wait at least another week and try a test if still no period. If negative, see what happens when you would expect your period next month and test again if necessary.

I used to be on Depo. I heard from many people that It takes awhile for your body to get all the depo injection out of your body before you can get pregnant. I have heard it could take months or even up to a year. But everyone is different.

Yes, I had intercourse then had my period 6 days later and now I'm two days late and I'm very worried. Such a stressful situation!
