I am an American citizen.I was employed by a private school in S Korea, teaching ESL for the last 2 months in 2009 and the first 11 months in 2010. The school provided a room for me during this time. I've been here in the US since Dec 1, 2010 but leave to work another year long contract in S Korea beginning March 1st. I'm trying to file my taxes but I'm not getting any help from IRS with the questions I have. I'm 28 and earned 25,000 for my time over there. Do I have to pay taxes on that here in the US? I received no income forms from my Korean Employer and came home with no money from the experience. How do I figure my taxes?
