We need far more information as what were they in the hospital for... and what type of therapy if any is needed.

In case its not obvious... there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer.

If you go into the hospital and they have to perform any procedures on you that can affect your mobility or ability to function correctly again (operation where muscles/tendons are cut and/or stitched etc.) The Doctor will usually request physical therapy so a professional can slowly build back your strength in the affected area safely. Usually it will have to do with joints or tendons but it can be almost anything.
