My ex-husband is in arrears of 19,700 of child support. Our children are grown. He has recently been dianosed with cancer and received va disability and not sure if he is receiving SSA. Will the child support arrears be taken out of his social security disability or va pay check and given to me? We resides in the state of Florida. How can I find out if my ex already receive Social Security benefit. I called the SSA but they refuse to provide any answer about him.
