View Full Version : Can I terminate my child's bio fathers rights

Okay here it goes... my daughter is 20 months old and her bio father has never seen her he does not pay child support and does not have visitation in the divorce papers I was given soul custody until farther adjudication was ruled and he has never tried... he told me when I was pregnant that he didn't care of me or her lived through the delivery and then he left me 3 days after I found out I was having his child I was not allowed a divorce until a month and 11 days after she was born to see if he would try to come back which he did not he did not contest anything... can I prove abandonment and have his right terminated

Readers digest version... YOU don't simply terminate his rights because you have issues with him... A child isn't a thing... and a parents rights are not so simply dicarded.
