Have you ever eaten at a restaurant where a lady takes your order, brings you your drinks and rolls, brings you your meal, refills your drinks, cleans your table, and brings you your bill? This lady is known as a waitress and this is what a waitress does. A waitress waits on customers and takes care of the customers in a restaurant. Also a waitress cleans the front area of the restaurant and refills things like salt and pepper shakers, sugar dispensers, mustard and ketchup bottles, and so on.

Sometimes they even cash you out. Meaning that lets say their meal was 10.00 and they give you a 20 dollar bill sometimes a waitress takes car of that.
