I received letter from Financial debt recovery stapled to a DRAFT statement of claim last week. It said that I had 48 hours to pay or they will proceed with court action. I sent them letter disputing the debt (they don't even have my name correct,), asking for full verification and original signed contract. I also stated on the letter that all commmunication be done through writing only and that I will get back to them once I receive all documents that I had requested. I also sent a copy of letter to the ministry of consumer affairs ( they deal with collection agency complaints and problems)
I received voicemail today from them about the same case,, what do I do, call them back?? Or wait for the documents?
